Integral Arches are recommended for tractors working on "right-of-way,"
and for tractor yarding where speed and maneuverability are primary considerations.
Its function is to give a tractor better yarding performance than can be
obtained with the winch alone. The arch permits side lead in winching, and
by getting the log ends out of the mud, makes hauling much easier and prevents
log damage.
